When is it going to warm up?

OK! This must be blackberry winter. A native Georgian said when the blackberries bloom, we'll get the chill that makes you think summer's never coming. Enough already!

Today we hiked just a bit in the cold rain at Canyon in NW Georgia. I had never managed to catch the laurel bushes in bloom -- but they are blooming right now! They are gorgeous! Big showy flowers -- I had to check to see if they have a scent, but I couldn't detect any.
